王磊，男，博士，教授，博士生導師。
主要從事海氣相互作用與氣候變化、海洋大氣動力學方面的研究工作。
曾有在香港科技大學、美國夏威夷大學、美國加州大學歐文分校、澳大利亞聯邦科學與工業研究組織從事科學研究的經曆。
主持國家自然科學基金、廣東省自然科學基金、國家重點研發項目子專題、教育部留學回國人員科研啟動基金、教育部博士點新教師基金等科研課題。
主持學校研究生示範課程《海洋與氣候變化》建設項目、海洋科學與大氣科學學科交叉複合型人才培養教學團隊項目等教學教改項目。
擔任廣東省氣象學會海洋氣象專業委員會委員，為國内外20多種專業學術期刊（包括Nature Communications、Journal of Climate、Climate Dynamics、Journal of Geophysical Research、Environmental Research Letters、International Journal of Climatology、Scientific Reports、Advances in Atmospheric Sciences、Frontiers in Marine Science、Frontiers in Earth Science、Journal of Ocean University of China等）審稿100餘次。在Nature Communications、Journal of Climate、Geophysical Research Letters等國内外學術期刊發表論文40餘篇，研究專著1部，教學教改論文9篇。
