夏瓊, 博士，碩士生導師，2018年畢業于中國科學院海洋研究所，獲得物理海洋學博士學位，曾在美國邁阿密大學交流訪學一年。研究方向為海洋中尺度渦旋，包括渦旋的統計研究，機制研究，預報研究，以及渦旋對水體的輸運研究等。研究方法包括傳統的歐拉渦旋研究方法以及拉格朗日拟序渦旋研究方法。研究區域包括中國南海，西北印度洋，南大西洋，以及墨西哥灣等。主持國家自然科學基金青年項目1項，參與過多次國家自然科學基金面上項目。在國際頂級期刊《Journal of Physical Oceanography》、美國科學院院刊《Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences》、以及《Geophysical Research Letters》、《Science China Earth Sciences》、《Acta Oceanologica Sinica》、《Atmosphere-Ocean》、《Chinese Journal of Oceanology and Limnology》等雜志發表多篇SCI論文。承擔教學海洋數據收集與處理、可視化程序設計、物理海洋學理論、C語言程序設計、數據庫應用等理論和實踐教學工作。
