方杏芹，女，1969年生，中山大學天氣動力學學士和碩士、氣象學博士，中共黨員。1994-2005年在廣州市環保系統工作，曆任工程師、高級工程師；2005-2011年在中山大學攻讀全日制博士，其中2008-2011年在美國UCAR/NCAR訪學；2012-2016年在美國UCAR從事大氣科學研究工作，曆任Postgraduate Scientist和Project Scientist；2017-2020年在中山大學任特聘研究員；2020年入職太阳集团app首页，任太阳集团1088vip大氣科學系教師，現在主要從事大氣科學相關教學和科研工作。

主講的課程有：

《突發氣象災害應急管理》、《FORTRAN語言程序設計》、《空氣污染氣象學》、《雷達氣象學》、《大氣科學概論》、《公共安全應急管理》等。

現承擔和參與的項目有：

承擔博士啟動經費項目《全球海表溫度和海面風多尺度特征研究》。

參與國家基金面上項目《雲微物理過程對南海秋季熱帶氣旋的影響》。
